Swede and Sour Kitchen

The Hunt for Chanterelles

We drove down to Söderköping last weekend to visit Aron’s aunt who lives in the countryside. Our mission was to go looking for chanterelles, but I must admit, we did a very shoddy job looking, at least Aron and I did. Such was it a fail for us that I don’t even have pictures of a basket of freshly plucked chanterelles this year. But it was still beautiful being in the woods, roaming about, and doing what I think is one of the most Swedish things to do!
