Swede and Sour Kitchen

Written by a gal from NYC living in Sweden, this blog dabbles in Swedish food and culture!

what’s cookin around here?

I know, it gets easier and easier to say, oh, I’ll write a post in a week. A week goes by and you say to yourself, next week… there’s time next week. Next week flies by and before you know it, a month has gone by. And that’s basically the story of my life as of late. I have so many posts in the making, recipes tried and tested, but some are lacking photos, others just need translation. It’s just getting  a little crazy town around here.

But I will share this with you now. It has nothing at all to do with Swedish cooking, but something that I have been working on for the past few months: Swedish-inspired baby clothes!!! Since Brixton and Zoey are so close in age, she has gotten mostly hand-me-downs, which inspired me to make some cute pants and such to add to her collection of old clothes. And then I thought it’d be nice to share this style of clothing with the world, so I opened my shop Beaucoup Bon Bon on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/beaucoupbonbon

Please take a look if you’re curious and perhaps you’ll understand why this blog has been unfortunately neglected the past few months. I do promise a post will be coming soon!

Those baby pants are adorable! I don’t even have kids, but I’ve bookmarked the page for sometime in the future. Looking forward to your recipes soon, too!
